TOY LENDING LIBRARY

Borrow Toys Instead of Buying Them

Choose from more than 2,000 carefully curated toys, games, puzzles, and learning materials for children up to age 8. Borrow, play at home, return, and discover something new on your next visit.

How It Works

Borrowing toys is simple—and gives your family access to hundreds of high-quality toys without the cost or clutter of buying them all.

Our Toy Lending Library includes more than 2,000 non-electronic toys, games, puzzles, and learning materials, along with over 300 parenting and educator resource books. Every item is carefully selected to encourage learning through play and support children at every stage of development.

Whether your child loves building, pretending, creating, exploring, or solving puzzles, there's always something new to discover.

Why Play Matters!

Play isn't just fun—it's one of the most important ways young children learn and grow.

At the Cape Cod Toy Library, we believe children learn best through hands-on exploration, imaginative play, and meaningful interactions with the world around them. That's why our Community Play Space is thoughtfully designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, communication, and social-emotional development in a safe and welcoming environment.

Rather than structured lessons, children are free to explore at their own pace, building confidence and independence while discovering new interests through play.

A brightly lit playroom with wooden furniture, a round table with chairs, a toy kitchen set, a storage shelf with baskets, and a shopping cart, all on a colorful striped rug near windows with trees outside.
